Christianity: Outside Looking In In the Western part of the world, Christianity is familiar with almost everyone. Many people, at the very least, claim to believe in God in the Western world. But what exactly is Christianity? The obvious answer is, of course, that Christianity is the religion that believes in God and Jesus Christ's sacrifice to save humanity from their sins. There's more to Christianity than this, and shall be discussed in more detail. Specifically, the origins of Christianity and how it became a world religion, what makes Christianity unique, and the differences in the denominations of Christianity shall be discussed.

Defending the Church: Part IIIIn Part III, I will go over the Catholic belief of the intercession of the saints and of Mary. I will also cover the Catholic view on prayer, and the different types of prayer involved.
Please note that I am only going to go over it in brief in comparison to the large amount of resources out there that both support and condemn this practice. Mary herself is a whole subject on her own, and there are so many legends and stories that are connected to the many saints. There are even whole books that solely discuss the subject of prayers. Because of this, I will only cover the biblical and logical reasoning behind the practice of intercessions and other prayers, and explain why these are practices of the Catholic Church.

Its not to be mean or anything but if I was religious I would pray for that, even if it mean letting people practice my religion in peace, I would rather live my own life, and let others live theirs, without fear of being singled out or being fought against, all people from the non-believers, to the agnostics, to the devout should all be able to choose as they want, and if some celestial being where to decide that only one way was the right way, well I would pray that they enable me and others like me to live how we want to live without fear of reprecusions unless we deliberately do something morally wrong.
